Meghan K. McGonagle Licensed Acupuncturist
Meghan K. McGonagle, LAc, MAOM, Dipl. OM (NCCAOM), is a board-certified, licensed acupuncturist, registered with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) in 2014, the oldest accredited institution for Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in the United States. She studied Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Japanese Style Acupuncture. NESA has since become part of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacology and Health Sciences (MCPHS), where Meghan works as a Teaching Assistant. She is a past Board Member of the Acupuncture Society of Massachusetts. Meghan is also a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui tradition and a strong advocate for integrative medicine.
Meghan’s specialties include Women's Health, Fertility, Mental/Emotional Health, Sleep Disorders, Chronic Pain, Fibromyalgia, and the Treatment of Children. She uses a multitude of techniques including acupuncture, herbs, cupping, and moxibustion to come up with a personalized treatment plan to meet her patients's needs.
For the treatment of children, Meghan uses non-insertive acupuncture techniques. She has experience treating children of all ages, from infants through teenagers. She uses cupping, magnets and Japanese pediatric acupuncture, also known as Shonishin.
